Come to Belize for two weeks of hands-on development work, full cultural immersion and a life-changing experience.  We’ll introduce you to the locals of Cristo Rey, a local town about 8 miles outside our site in San Ignacio. Cristo Rey is a farming village with a population of 1500. Their local school has 11 class rooms and 275 students. As a volunteer, you will help out in creating recreational grounds which are severely lacking. The group project will focus on:

• Completing a basketball court that has been recently started by ProWorld Belize
• Constructing a playground
• Promoting healthy lifestyles through public health initiatives
• Assisting teachers in the local classrooms
   

These shared projects are just a few examples of our community projects.
