Many pregnant teenagers in Peru have no place to call home.  This ProWorld program gives teenage moms and their babies hope for a brighter future through job training and education.  If you love babies and have a heart for teen moms, we would love to meet you.  You’d help out by:

• Changing diapers
• Feeding the children
• Playing with the children
• Helping teach young moms English

In addition to offering basic services and free healthcare, Mantay also offers tutoring and childcare, so the moms can stay in school.  A social worker and psychologist help the women and children recover and cope.  Mantay’s leather workshop teaches the moms an artistic skill and provides a small income through craft sales.  Over 100 moms and babies have called Mantay home.  That’s more than 70 young families that have a safe, healthy start.
