Primary School Education

Description and Impact

Crowded classrooms and slim resources make it easy for some kids to fall through the cracks.  Our teacher’s assistant program in Punta Gorda tries to prevent this by providing resources and enthusiastic volunteers to public schools in the Toledo area. Having a helping hand in the classroom allows primary teachers to provide a more solid education to students. With more support, students are able to receive additional attention and one on one tutoring.

What is the overall goal of the project? This project aims to strengthen the education system by implementing a support system for hardworking teachers in the Toledo area. Teacher assistants will allow teachers to better execute their jobs and present a more well-rounded education and directed lesson plans that cater to varied learning styles.
