Description and Impact

Kids living in a country funded by tourism are more likely to find jobs both at home and abroad if they speak two or more languages. ProWorld Belize launched its French language program in two primary schools in Cayo to give kids in Belize that opportunity. If you are considering a career in education and parle français, come spend time in the tropics and gain hands on experience in the classroom.

What is the overall goal of the project? This project aspires to expand opportunities available to children in the Cayo district by providing them with the tools to speak foreign languages.
