Spring Semester in Ghana

ProWorld Semester Abroad students will study at one of West Africa's premier institutions, the University of Cape Coast, with local and international students. The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is one of the few universities that boasts a seafront view. Established in 1962 as a teacher training college, UCC became an independent university in 1971 and is now one of the most reputable universities in West Africa.

UCC offers programs in Agriculture, Art, Business Studies, Education, Biological Sciences, Management, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Scicnces and Social Studies departments, as well as a School of Graduate Studies and Research (SGSR), focused on action and demand-driven research. All instruction is conducted in English, Ghana's official national language.

All interested students must apply online at least 3 months prior to the beginning of the semester.
