Description and Impact
Benque Pharmacy is a fairly busy pharmacy within the Benque town clinic, which is the next town over from San Ignacio. The pharmacy treats residents of Benque as well as those from Succotz, Cayo and other regions. The chief pharmacist sees a steady stream of patients who have just had a medical exam or who seek advice from a pharmacist.
What is the overall goal of the project? The overall goal of this project is to provide advice and pharmaceutical care and treatment to the residents of Benque and surrounding villages. Since everything is done manually at the pharmacy, a high degree of structure and organization is needed.
