Live and Work with Disadvantaged Kids High in the Andes

Description and Impact

Orphaned children need more than just a home. They lack the support provided by parents or guardians to provide the motivation to continue their educations. Younger children simply need adults to help them with basic daily tasks such as bathing, feeding and clothing.

What is the overall goal of the project? ProWorld partners with an orphanage in the remote village of Pomacanchis, where volunteers will live and work five days a week. The organization seeks not only to provide a home for these young children, but also to support them and help them to have a successful transition into the working world of adults.
